Federal Budget cuts are expected to rock Youth Employment Broker

But the organisation’s services are at risk as the Federal Government is expected to axe its $50 million a year funding of employment brokering network Partnership Brokers. That network includes MWLP, and its various programs such as iCareer, and links young people to jobs, apprenticeships and traineeships in the Macarthur region. Nearly 60 per cent of MWLP’s funding comes from the Federal Government.

FOR 15 years, MWLP has provided work and training opportunities to youth in the Macarthur region.
